I was impressed with Kevin’s knowledge of the various aspects of design, the... read more tools he used to evaluate and propose what was needed, and his willingness to listen to and address my many questions and requests. He and his team showed up when they said they would, worked hard, and showed real skill when removing the concrete pad that was there from the builder. I also observed the team be meticulous in the soil grading and laying the base materials & new pavers. The patio was built in an enclosed area requiring extra effort to transport materials, navigate around fencing, and demonstrate care in protecting my property. All of this was taken into account and reflected what I felt was a next level of service. There were many factors that were important to me that I felt were well addressed – the paver selection and materials, drainage, improvements to the underground drain connected to gutters (+PVC), protection of neighbors, etc. just to name a few. Kevin also worked with me to coordinate a pest control company to treat the soil as a preventative measure before laying the new pavers – something that I expect to provide protection for our home for years to come. I highly recommend Kevin and Lapis Patios, am grateful for and have been enjoying the new space, and can’t wait to watch the games out back during football season!
